LCBA Leadership
Meet the leaders who serve and support the mission of Lake Cumberland Baptist Association, working together to strengthen churches across our region.
Serving Together in Leadership
Tommy Floyd
Tommy Floyd was appointed as the Director of Missions for the Pulaski Baptist Association in October 2016, officially beginning his service on November 7, 2016. Before stepping into this leadership role, Tommy dedicated 27 years to pastoral ministry, serving four congregations across Kentucky. His pastoral journey included one church in Lincoln County, two in Laurel County, and his longest tenure — 18 years— at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Wayne County.
Tommy is married to Kim Gray Floyd, and together they have two adult sons and two grandchildren.
Since his appointment, Tommy has overseen several significant transitions within the association. Under his leadership, the association rebranded as the Lake Cumberland Baptist Association, and the title of Director of Missions was updated to Associational Mission Strategist, reflecting the evolving nature of the role.
In his personal time, Tommy enjoys camping, fishing, and creating meaningful moments with His family.
Kim Floyd
Kim Floyd has served as the Ministry Assistant for the Lake Cumberland Baptist Association since February 2022. In addition to managing the association's daily administrative operations, Kim plays a key role in coordinating and preparing meals for various events throughout the year.
One of her signature contributions is leading the catering team for the annual Ministers and Wives Christmas Banquet each December. Her menu selections consistently receive high praise, and her homemade desserts are always a highlight among attendees.
Kim enjoys spending time with her family and their beloved dog, Sadie. She also has a passion for travel, landscaping, and nurturing her outdoor flowers and plants.
